Meet Rikki!

I am a fun-loving 7 month old female black lab mix! I love other doggie playmates, and I’m gentle and sweet with kids, too! I am friendly and playful with cats, too, but for some reason, they don’t reciprocate. I am potty trained and mostly crate trained, especially if you leave me some toys to help distract me when you’re gone. I am a smart girl, I already know how to sit and lay. My lab hard-wiring helps a lot, because I am very food motivated and a very fast learner.

I do need my human to understand that I am still young and be patient with me while I am learning. I shouldn’t be left alone with things like carpet, toys or shoes; I am a growing puppy, and I explore by eating everything! I also am very cuddly and would prefer to be by my human. Some of my favorite things are rope toys, stuffed squeaky toys, and treats. I also enjoy training and playing tag my human siblings. I love being outside. I walk so beautifully on a leash, and I don’t care what the weather is like. I am a big ball of energy, and I need walks and room to play.

My foster mom says that the three words that best describe me are SWEET, ENERGETIC and SMART. I really just want to play and cuddle all day. If you think I could be your the right kind of sweet fun girl for you, contact Arizona at (325)267-5234 to set up a meet & greet.

**Rikki’s adoption paperwork will be processed through Abilene Animal Services.
