Rabies Vaccine Clinic
THIS CLINIC IS FULLY BOOKED AND IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS.
Please join us on Saturday, August 24th, from 8am until 11am for a low-cost, drive-thru rabies vaccine clinic for cats and dogs! Please pre-register at the link on the event page before the clinic. All cats must be in a carrier.
Adopt & Shop Mall Adoption Event
Find your new furever family member at the Mall of Abilene on Saturday, August 3 from 1 - 3 PM. We will be set up in the courtyard right in front of the Hendrick Plaza. Please join us, adopt a dog, learn more about services we provide to the community and how to get involved with our organization!
Puppies & Poses
We're bringing new meaning to "downward dog" with this fun collaboration between Abilene Yoga House and All Kind! Take some deep breaths and lean in while puppies wander among us. Bring your yoga mats and a playful spirit...we can't take this too seriously with all of that sweet puppy breath! Hosted by our friends at the Peacock Patio. Yappy Hour to immediately follow yoga.
Coffee with Cats
Join us to kick off Abilene Gives 2024 with this special mixer at the Abilene Animal Shelter. You can get to know our team and learn about All Kind while also hanging out with some of our amazing adoptable cats (and dogs) over coffee and donuts at this free event.
LOW COST Pet Vaccine Clinic
Join us on Saturday, April 20th from 8am to 11am, All Kind will offer FREE HCP vaccines for cats and FREE DAAPV vaccines for dogs in a drive-thru clinic at the Abilene Animal Shelter. Rabies vaccines will be available for $20. Pre-registration is REQUIRED for Rabies vaccines.
Spring Fling Adoption Event
Join us for a Spring Fling Adoption event with our friends at Pet Supplies Plus! Don't miss out on this exciting adoption event on March 30th from 1-4 p.m. We will have both dogs and cats available for adoption.
Hiking with Homeless Dogs!
Join us at the Abilene State Park on Saturday, March 23rd from 9:00am - 11:00am and take one of our amazing dogs on a hike! This has become a favorite event. It's a great way to get outside, get moving, and help a shelter pet while you do it!
Abilene State Park and All Kind Animal Initiative are excited to continue our partnership with this upcoming hiking event. We will have several available dogs ready to hike down Elm Creek Trail and around Buffalo Wallow.
(And you never know, you may just find a new family member on this adventure too!)

Petsmart National Adoption Week
PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week is a special time during the year. PetSmart stores feature adoptable pets to meet and cuddle in spacious areas, and staff and volunteers are on-hand to make introductions and answer questions. Potential pet parents can also learn about the products and services they’ll need for the best possible start with their new family members.

FREE Dog Vaccine Clinic
Help protect your dog from distemper and parvo with this free clinic.
Join us on Saturday, November 4th from 8am to 11am, All Kind will offer FREE DAPPV vaccines for dogs in a drive-thru clinic at the Abilene Animal Shelter.
Vaccines will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
No registration needed prior to the event.
Vaccines are made available through Petco Love's national vaccination initiative which is to provide 2 million pet vaccines to its existing animal welfare partners, including All Kind Animal Initiative, for family pets in need.

Let us help make the purr-fect match for you! Our adorable kittens are ready to steal your heart! Plus, they will be microchipped and have received the first two rounds of shots.
Corks & Collars
It's that time of year! Corks & Collars time! Leash up your best furry friend and bring them to the creek for an afternoon of fun and fundraising.
Recline with some wine, enjoy live music, food trucks, raffles, and a silent auction all with your dog by your side!

Empty the Shelters - On-Site Adoption Event
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Cathy Bissell and the BISSELL Pet Foundation for the upcoming Empty the Shelters event, running from October 1 through October 15. As first-time participants, we are eager to make a difference in the lives of our furry friends.
Reduced Adoption Fees: To celebrate this special occasion, all adoption fees will be generously reduced during the Empty the Shelters event. This is a golden opportunity to welcome a new member into your family while contributing to a cause close to our hearts.
